Bringing Baby Home
A Couples Therapy Workshop for New Parents
The Bringing Baby Home program is a 12 hour course taught by psychotherapist, fellow mom, and Arkansas' only Bringing Baby Home Educator Stephanie Johnston, LCSW.
The program was created by expert couples therapists to help new parents prepare for life with their new baby. A newborn is stressful! Relationship satisfaction typically reduces in 67% of new parents.
This course teaches you to increase your friendship, resolve conflict in a healthy way, and build meaning into your new family.
The greatest gift you can give your baby is a solid relationship between you and your partner. By working on your relationship now you will be prepared to handle all the new adventures that come with your beautiful bundle of joy.
In addition to strengthening your relationship the course also teaches very practical hands-on parenting skills that are invaluable with newborns.
The workshop is best taken during pregnancy, but it can be taken anytime after baby is born. You're welcome to bring your newborn with you (up until crawling age!) If your kids are older you'd still benefit from this workshop as it's a perfect opportunity to take a timeout from the chaos of daily life to reinvest in your relationship. If you never sat down and decided exactly what kind of family you wanted to be, now is the time to do so!
Courses are offered from 9am-4pm every first weekend of the month. Private sessions can also be offered to accommodate schedules.
Cost is $300 per couple which includes both days, a workbook, and course materials. Only 5 couples are accepted in each workshop so get in touch now to reserve your spot!
